  • Third-party platform data: data received through integrations such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp Business API, where you interact with our ads, pages, or automated messaging.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and book strategy calls;
  • Deliver, manage, and improve our Services (website development, personal branding, content, paid ads, performance marketing, WhatsApp marketing, AI agents and automation, custom software);
  • Communicate with you about your engagement, including via email, phone, or WhatsApp;
  • Process payments and maintain financial, tax, and GST-compliant records;
  • Analyze and improve Site performance and marketing effectiveness;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations in India.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers and sub-processors who help us deliver Services (e.g., hosting providers, WhatsApp Business API/automation providers such as Wati or AiSensy, email/CRM tools, payment processors, our accounting/GST filing firm);
  • Advertising platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) when running campaigns on your behalf, subject to those platforms’ own privacy terms;
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights;
  • Successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of Highlister’s business, subject to equivalent confidentiality protections.

4. Client Data Handling

Where Highlister is given access to a Client’s ad accounts, website, analytics, or WhatsApp Business account to deliver Services, that data is used solely for the purpose of the engagement, treated as confidential under our Terms of Service, and not repurposed for other clients. Access is removed or handed back at the end of the engagement unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics/Ads tags) to remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve ad targeting. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal and engagement data for as long as necessary to deliver Services, maintain business records, and meet legal, accounting, and GST/tax retention requirements under Indian law, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request deletion of your personal information, where we are not legally required to retain it;
  • Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time (e.g., by replying “stop” on WhatsApp or unsubscribing from emails).

9. International Data Transfers

As we serve clients globally (India, US, UK, UAE, Australia, Singapore, and other regions), your information may be processed or stored on servers located outside your home country, including in India. We take steps to ensure such transfers are handled in accordance with this Policy.

Our Site and Services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
